Roadview’s data collection fleet utilizes the industry’s most advanced technologies to collect high-resolution digital imagery, GPS, laser pavement profiling, automated distress, and LiDAR data used in the management of transportation infrastructures across the nation. These systems, capable of being integrated into a single collection vehicle, allow Roadview to collect massive amounts of high-quality, geo-referenced data at highway speeds in a single-pass. This “single-pass” collection capability has revolutionized mobile data capture by dramatically increasing collection efficiency and creating a more dynamic and customizable product for our customers.

Our Field System Operators manage these integrated hardware systems via state-of-the-art onboard operating stations. Using Mandli’s proprietary software packages, our technicians are able to efficiently operate and monitor each acquisition system in real time to ensure the highest quality data output and customer satisfaction. Roadview’s success, which has spanned across 49 states, is a testament to our versatility and ability to adapt to our customer’s needs. What We Collect

Our LiDAR data collection system creates an accurate three-dimensional model of a scanned environment in a single pass of our collection vehicle.

Photo Imaging

We use an advanced imaging system to capture high-resolution photos that are stitched together to show the roadway and roadside assets.

GPS

GPS

We use highly-accurate global positioning systems to track vehicle position, velocity, altitude, track, speed, and dynamics from our moving collection vehicles.

Pavement

Pavement

Our pavement profiling system uses high-speed cameras, custom optics, and laser line projectors to acquire both 2D images and high-resolution 3D profiles of the road.

We use cutting-edge industry hardware to access hundreds of terabytes of data collected from across the United States. Proprietary software packages allow us to reduce vast amounts of high-resolution digital imagery, GPS, pavement, and LiDAR data through our unique visual analysis procedures.

Data processors evaluate, identify, and classify these data streams into highly customizable database solutions. Deliverable datasets may include high-resolution right-of-way imagery, automated pavement analysis, surface area, intersection geometry, horizontal and vertical clearance measurements of overhead structures, infrastructure asset analysis, sign asset identification, and much more. These datasets are used by managers of transportation networks throughout the country as a cost-effective and efficient means to manage infrastructure. Roadview is an industry leader in the collection, reduction, and delivery of network-scale transportation datasets for roadways, rail lines, and aviation infrastructure. Our fleet of mobile collection systems, paired with unique and advanced reduction software, provides the versatility needed to deploy resources at any time, to any location, to meet any customer need.
